VP of Space Division
Former Head of Space Propulsion Team at Perigee
Development of Satellite Propulsion Systems and Launch Vehicle Feed Systems
M.S. in Aerospace Systems Engineering (Launch Vehicle Systems) from UST

Daeseong Jeong is the VP of Space Division at Perigee Aerospace. He joined Perigee in February 2021 as Head of the Space Propulsion Team and was appointed VP of Space Division in September 2026. He now oversees and leads the development of satellite propulsion systems, including the propulsion system for the Active Debris Removal Demonstration Satellite (ADRSat), and is responsible for the division’s development direction and key decisions.

Daeseong is a propulsion expert with deep knowledge of liquid rocket engine propellant feed systems and key components. At the Korea Aerospace Research Institute (KARI), he supported the development of feed system components for the Korea Space Launch Vehicle (KSLV) and studied the characteristics of a 75-ton-class oxidizer main valve. He then worked at Vitzro NexTech, managing the manufacturing of gas generators and staged combustors and developing the feed system (valves and piping) for a micro launch vehicle, building broad hands-on experience from design to production.

Daeseong holds a bachelor’s degree in Space Engineering from Korea Aerospace University and a master’s degree in Launch Vehicle Systems Engineering from the University of Science and Technology (UST).
