Jongho Lee entered the Korea Air Force Academy, where he majored in Aeronautical Engineering. He later earned a master’s degree in Business Administration from Hanseo University and completed a doctoral program in Military Studies at Daejeon University. He also completed advanced programs at Seoul National University (ALPS) and the Korea National Defense University.

In the Air Force, he served as a fighter pilot with over 2,500 flight hours on major aircraft such as the F-4, F-5, F-16, and KF-16. Rising to the rank of Brigadier General, he commanded the Air Force Aerospace Combat Development Group, where he played a leading role in advancing Korea’s air and space power. He also oversaw major international airshows, including serving as the Head of Operations for Seoul ADEX in 2021 and 2023, as well as managing Korea’s national pavilions at the airshows in Australia, London, and Paris.

Following his distinguished military career, he became Executive Director at the Korea Aerospace Industries Promotion Association, where he spearheaded initiatives to strengthen Korea’s aerospace sector. He has since taken on multiple leadership and advisory roles, including Director of the Korea Defense Space Society, Director of the Korea Space Security Society, and member of the Air Force Space Power Development Committee.

He also serves in academia as Adjunct Professor in the Department of Space and Defense Convergence at Yonsei University and as Director of the Aerospace Technology Center at Yonsei Institute for Aviation and Space Strategy. In addition, he advises key organizations such as the Gyeongbuk New Integrated Airport Promotion Headquarters and Seoul Metropolitan Government’s Security Policy Advisory Council.

He is currently a Senior Advisor to Perigee Aerospace, where he continues to contribute his expertise in aerospace strategy and national security.
